Can I eat this today?
HISTA uses your personal history to give you a personalized estimate before you eat. It learns from your own food and symptom observations to help you understand how individual foods may affect you.
Limited early access. Free during beta.

Why HISTA
Generic histamine food lists can tell you what is commonly considered high or low histamine. But they can’t tell you what is likely to happen to you today. Your experience can depend on your individual history, timing, combinations and other context. That’s why a universal safe-or-unsafe list isn’t enough.
WHY HISTA
From generic lists to your personal history.
HISTA builds a picture from your individual observations. When you ask about a food, it uses the history available to provide a personalized estimate — not the same answer for everyone.
Chocolate → High histamine → Avoid
A generic list gives the same direction to everyone, with little room for timing, observations or personal context.
Chocolate → Your history → Your personal estimate
HISTA uses observed patterns in your history to help make a more personal, evidence-aware choice.
01 / LOG
Record what you eat.
Log meals and relevant context, manually or with a photo.
02 / OBSERVE
Record what you notice.
Add symptoms and symptom-free days alongside your meals.
03 / BUILD YOUR HISTORY
Build your personal history.
HISTA uses your observations to build a picture of patterns over time.
04 / ASK BEFORE YOU EAT
Ask for a personal estimate.
Ask about a food and receive an estimate based on the evidence available in your history.
THE KEY USE CASE
Can I eat this today?
Ask HISTA about a food. Your personal history gives the estimate meaning — whether you’re asking about chocolate, tomatoes, something you’ve eaten before, or whether there’s enough history to know more.
Can I eat chocolate today?
What about tomatoes?
Do I have enough history about this?

A personal history that becomes useful when you need an answer.
Food and symptom logging give HISTA the context it needs to turn your own observations into a more useful estimate.

I didn’t want another food diary.
I have histamine intolerance myself, and one of the most frustrating questions isn’t simply ‘What foods are high in histamine?’ It’s: ‘Can I eat this today?’ I wanted something that could look at my own history instead of giving me another generic list. So I started building HISTA.
Join the HISTA beta and help us build a more personal way to navigate food with histamine intolerance.
